Six pages in idea Magazine filled with luscious Kontrapunkt type design. A jolly good present this week – and it's not even Christmas yet.

The idea Magazine publication lands perfectly with the news of 'Kontrapunkt Type'(previously Sculptural Type) moving from Tokyo to the ddd gallery in Kyoto this spring.

The Japanese magazine centres around graphic design and typography and published its first edition back in 1953! The Kontrapunkt feature dives into five of the ten typefaces we exhibited earlier this year at ggg in Tokyo. Our solo exhibition 'Kontrapunkt Type', gave an insight into the stories, inspiration and processes behind some of our bespoke typefaces throughout the years.
