We're proud to be a B Corp and become part of a movement that shares our values and commitment to high societal and environmental performance standards.

The saying "you are the company you keep" holds a profound truth. Therefore, we are pleased with becoming a B Corp, as we find not only a certification but an ambitious and inspiring community of approx. 7300 companies worldwide.

Our B Corp certification is awarded by B Lab, a global nonprofit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. This means we meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

In Denmark, we have become part of the Nordic B Corp Movement, which aligns with our values and echoes our passion for purpose-driven work and a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact through our work. Along with 100 other B Corps in the Nordics (23.10.2023), we have an obligation to embrace a more profound commitment to society and the environment and to help others to do the same.

We handed in our application in 2021, so we're glad to finally be certified. It's been a comprehensive process that has kickstarted all the right discussions internally. At Kontrapunkt, we have now changed our supplier base to more responsible suppliers, we are screening clients on an ongoing basis to verify their intentions with the work we do, we have improved employee practices, energy-optimised our offices and partnered with Klimate on our CO2 reduction and offsetting efforts. And we still have a long to-do list. Especially within civic engagement and workplace and leadership development, which are focus areas in the coming year.

Entering the B Corp movement is also becoming part of a humble yet ambitious community of continuous improvement. The standards and expectations for being a responsible business are – fortunately – increasing every year, so we look forward to keep pushing the bar and recertifying with an even higher score three years from now.
